I love Britney. Have for a long time.
I’m totally buying this song on iTunes tonight.
New York, NY (CNS) – Britney Spears’s forthcoming single “If U Seek Amy” is facing a U.S. radio stations ban over its controversial lyrics. The track, which is the third single from her current album Circus has Spears singing the phrase “If you seek Amy,” which actually sounds like she is saying “F ** K me.”
“It’s OK to put in on an album, have fun with it, but we’re publicly owned, you know?” Patti Marshall of Cincinnati’s Q102 told MTV.
“We have a responsibility to the public, you put this… out and act like we’re all fuddy-duddies, like we’re trying to make moral judgments. It’s not about us. It’s about the mom in the minivan with her eight-year-old,” Marshall added.

WOAH!! It does sound like that…and clearly it is supposed to!

Catchy tune; I’ll give her that.
Right. They won’t play this song but played countless worse lyrics sung by so-called “rappers”. Don’t we still have the power to turn the dial or turn off the radio?
I love to hate Britney. But I hope she can get her life and her career back on track. No one likes to see people in turmoil or pain. This album isn’t bad. But I don’t hear what you guys hear. I never do. : (
“So-called” rappers! Allaire thinks that there are some giving even rappers a bad name!
Correction though—EVERYONE likes to see people in turmoil and pain. That’s what Jerry Springer is all about.
Schadenfreude, baby!
